Art in Times of War (German version here)
During all of October 2026, you are invited to an exhibition that I organized with the help of Ukrainian and US-American partners. The exhibition will be at our county museum, the Nissenhaus in Husum, Germany. It features works by professional Ukrainian artists and artisans, as well as by students and children living in Ukraine. They are from Vesele (Zaporizhzhia Oblast) and Lozova (Kharkiv Oblast).
Exhibition Background
The exhibition in Husum is inspired by “Art From The Front Lines.” It is a concept by the Charles Bruce Foundation, Pennsylvania, and by the Rotary Club of Paradise, California in the United States. The works from Ukrainian towns of Vesele and Lozova can be exhibited in Husum thanks to the support of these partners from the U.S.
